What products did Aristocrat present in FADJA 2007 and which was the reception of the local public?
In this opportunity, platform MKVI was presented with Stand Alone games in Spanish, as well as some of our Premium titles of “Reel Power” line and “50 Lines”.
Our Reel Power games are a real novelty in this region, because they change the gaming paradigm, reels instead of lines with more opportunities and additional attractions for the player, as well as attractive titles for this market such as Golden Incas, Prophecy and Pompeii. The feedback of the public was extraordinary.
How is the firm positioned in the area, and which markets do you expect to target in Latin America?
Altough the brand is already present in the Colombian market, through our previous generation equipment, it means that in the last two years it has not been produced any technological innovation, due to the lack of presence of Aristocrat in Colombia.
For that reason, and with the aim to speed up the commercial operation, we have decided to name Gaming Ventures as official and exclusive distributor of Aristocrat in Colombia.
Regarding future markets, we are working hard in the Chilean region, in Peru, Panama and Argentina; other markets with exponential growth are Uruguay, Ecuador, Dominican Republic and Guatemala; as well as the rest of Latin America, where we search to consolidate our presence in this market as the favourite provider with the best reliability in the region.
A clear example of the importance of Aristocrat for Latin America is Panama, where our products are the latest in the market, and we have mantained ourselves as the number one. Our aim is to keep like this, introducing new technological and gaming improvements.
Did you notice a better development in particular in the Colombian industry, or more professionalization of the actors of the sector in this latest edition of the show?
In this occasion, as exhibitors in Colombia, we noted a high-level of professionalization of the operators, showing maturity and self-assurance with regards to the great technological changes made in the most developed markets of the region. Definitely, the region has a potencial and is being very well channelled with strategic alliances and professionalism.
What expectations do you have for this year regarding its position in the Colombian and Latin market through its new representatives?
The best. The operators came to assure our presence and the knowledge of our brand. Aristocrat has direct presence in the Colombian market through the Gaming Ventures, and operators are aware that our products are the perfect combination between the customer satisfaction and the operators and, through them, its operations will grow.
Will Aristocrat have new development to present in this region within the rest of the year?
Of course, part of our commitment with Latin America is to present technological improvements and new products. Our company is global and our developments are part of the worldwide recognition of Aristocrat, so they will always be sourprised with the brand novelties. We will inform you about these new developments and releases. Nowadays, we are preparing to present our novelties in Panama in June.
