AGI Hungarian production plant has received ISO 9001 certification

The certificate EN ISO 9001:2000 is an internationally acknowledged industrial standard for quality management systems maintained by the International Organisation for Standardisation (ISO). It is administered by independent accreditation and certification bodies in the individual countries.

ISO 9001 certifies that a reliable quality manual is being followed and consistent business processes are being applied. It ensures that, from the creation and development of a product to the production, installation and maintenance, it conforms to these ISO-standards and every individual production step complies with the norm.

With the official certification, that the work processes conform to the ISO-norms, a company can guarantee that their product meets the highest quality demands. Furthermore an ISO-certification improves the company’ competitiveness as well as its image through internationally provable quality standards.

AGI Hungaria’s production plant in Veszkény produces the cables and wires used in the AGI gaming equipment and delivers its products to all Novomatic manufacturing facilities, national and international. AGI Hungaria covers not only the group’s own demand, but produces also for external customers such as the automotive industry.

The EN ISO 9001:2000 Certificate now officially confirms that AGI Hungaria products meet the highest quality standards.

The certification audit in Veszkény, Hungary, was carried out by Quality Austria – Trainings-, Zertifizierungs- und Begutachtungs GmbH from February 28 to March 1, 2007. Certification was accredited at the highest level.
